The taut blank made of natural carbon with carbon wrapping has a semi-parabolic rod action with a strong backbone. Because of this and the precisely calculated ring arrangement of the SIC double leg guides, the rod loads incredibly well. All of these technical features and the 50mm butt ring ensure that the Xtasy Spod rod is described as an absolute long-distance casting machine!
The ideal range of use for this 5.00 lbs rod is in the medium feeding range of up to 100 metres. The additional reinforcement of the natural carbon blank by means of extra carbon cross wrapping on the outside ensures that you can pull through even with the largest spods.
