After nearly 4 years of development, we are now introducing the new WFT Blue Water II SW 2-Speed series. These purebred Big Game reels are built for one purpose - to catch the biggest fish in the world. Nothing more, nothing less.

Our complete experience with this class of reels has flowed into the construction. We could name hundreds of details! Of course, a completely torsion-free construction, which sets limits to lightweight construction, is standard.

Here we use exclusively pressure-compacted aluminum of industrial quality. Frame, spool, and side plates are hand-polished before anodizing (gold plating) to achieve a uniform surface.

On multiple suggestions, we have chamfered and polished all edges of the reels, contributing to comfortable handling. The drag lever could be designed floating in all models. Should the drag actually need to be adjusted during the fight of a big fish, the lever cannot jam, even under pressure!

The gearbox is made up of 30% fewer parts than its predecessors through clever grouping. The new parts are larger and more robust for it.

Shifting under full load? No problem! The new multi-stop system simulates an infinite anti-reverse without its systemic weaknesses!

All controls are practical and very grippy, and executed on the crank side. The other side remains completely free. Because where there is nothing, the danger of injury is low. In heavy fighting, some of us appreciate being able to lay a hand on the reel - this is very possible here.

From a technical point of view, aesthetics would be secondary, but still, these reels look great. You can literally see the combination of tradition and innovation in them. The WFT Blue Water II SW 2-Speed combines the most innovative technology with breathtaking design.
