Besides essentials like ultra precise diameter and load capacity, the highest possible abrasion resistance was the development goal No. 1.
Since catfish like obstacle-rich waters and prefer to stay near the bottom, a good catfish line must not break upon contact with sunken trees, mussel beds, and other sharp-edged obstacles.
For this purpose, a very special braiding process was used and paired with an extra smooth and highly adhesive coating.
This braiding guarantees from itself an extremely high abrasion resistance, but the coating
supports this effect even more by allowing everything sharp-edged to simply slide off the line.
