The illuminated Snag Ears for VTX+ bite alarms offer carp anglers extra security while fishing and give the setup a modern, technical look at the same time. Developed specifically for use with the VTX+ bite alarms, these high-quality Snag Ears integrate seamlessly into the existing system and ensure maximum hold of the rod – even during aggressive runs or with tightly stretched lines.
The robust and weatherproof backplate replaces the original back of the bite alarm and is powered directly via a modern USB-C connection. This means no separate battery is required, making handling especially efficient and low-maintenance. The precision-fit construction ensures a reliable connection and secure hold during every use by the water.
A special highlight are the integrated LED-illuminated tips, which perfectly complement the existing LED system of the VTX+ bite alarm. Two internal LEDs offer various color options, multiple brightness levels, an indicator for forward and backward movements, as well as a practical night light mode. This allows the setup to be individually adjusted and ensures optimal visibility and control even in the dark.
The Snag Ears can be easily unscrewed for transport and can be used flexibly either individually or as a pair. After removal, the included replacement plugs reliably protect against the ingress of water or dirt. With an ear height of 5.5 cm, they offer optimal protection against the rod jumping out of the bite alarm – especially when fishing at long distances or in snaggy waters.
