DRD DRAG SYSTEM
The incredibly durable DRD Drag System is used for sizes 18000 and higher.
Drags that use carbon discs are very durable, but DRD takes it to another level with a new drag mechanism aimed at larger fish. Equipped with eight metal reels on a single metal plate, DRD controls the loss of pulling force caused by friction heat. It is smooth under pressure and is 5x more durable.

The ATD Tough Drag delivers exceptional pulling strength and smoothness. The large Carbon-Drag-Stack provides anglers with ultimate performance and reliability.
Up to size 14000, the ATD Carbon-Wires from Daiwa are used for reliable and smooth air resistance control.
