This HD model is based on the Airdrive design concept and is designed to confidently master strong fighting fish even under continuous high load, with high brake settings and demanding fishing techniques.

Equipped with DAIWA's new Aluminium Airdrive Rotor and a torsion-resistant Monocoque Aluminium body, the reel offers space for a machine-cut, oversized drive wheel, which ensures smooth running and long-term stability. The Magsealed technology reliably protects critical internal components from the penetration of water and dirt, thus ensuring consistent performance in both fresh and saltwater.

Thanks to the Airdrive Design, the 26 Certate HD impresses with reduced initial resistance and improved balance for a lighter, more direct cranking feel – without sacrificing power transmission. In combination with the Tough Digigear gear, a smooth and controlled power transmission is created during the fight with large, strong fighting fish. The 26 Certate HD was designed to perform continuously at the limit – and beyond.

Equipment note:

The sizes 3000, 4000-CXH, and 4000-C are equipped with a T-Shape Handle Knob L-Size. The size 3000-CH comes with a T-Shape Handle Knob, the sizes 5000D-XH and 5000D with a round EVA Handle Knob.
