With the new Powerdrive Zaion Rotor, DAIWA sets another milestone in construction technology and performance. The increased stiffness ensures maximum smoothness, efficiency, and power transmission at minimal weight. Even under extreme load, the reel body remains torsion-resistant and allows direct, immediate control during the fight with large saltwater fish.
In combination with the precisely manufactured Monocoque Body, the new 26 Certate SW also integrates a milled, larger, and more powerful Powerdrive Tough Digigear gear, which is significantly more durable and long-lasting than conventional gear constructions.

For lasting reliability under harsh saltwater conditions, the proven Magsealed technology effectively protects the interior from water and penetrating dirt particles. This reel concept is complemented by the extremely finely tuned ATD brake system, which delivers smooth and powerful braking performance – for maximum control and safety at the decisive moment.

Sizes 8000-H, 10000-H, 14000-P, 14000-XH, 18000-H, 20000-H, and 20000-P come with an Egg-Shape handle knob, sizes 8000-P and 10000-P with a round EVA handle knob.
