The 26 Freams LT combines low weight with high corrosion resistance and optimal handling. Thanks to Daiwa's Magsealed technology, the silky smooth operation of the 26 Freams LT lasts significantly longer than with regular spinning reels. The main shaft is perfectly sealed against the ingress of saltwater and dirt particles.To achieve the premium feel of the 26 Freams LT, the reel was designed with the new Airdrive design concept. The Airdrive rotor and the lightweight aluminum spool reduce the overall weight in the front unit and optimize balance – additionally, the spool has a small protrusion at the lower edge to prevent line from slipping under the spool.
The very lightweight Zaion V Airdrive rotor starts without much inertia and optimizes sensitivity and lure feel while fishing. The hollow Airdrive bail ensures optimal line lay and high stability. The torsion-resistant Zaion V body ensures optimal gear bearing and perfect power transmission when cranking.
