In the 26 Tatula P/F, a variety of the most advanced Daiwa technologies come together, making this model one of the best pitching and flipping reels available today. Compared to the standard Tatula models, the P/F series offers some technical details specifically designed for the demands of frequent, fast casts.
The 100mm long crank arm provides optimal leverage to keep fish away from obstacles. Combined with the grippy EVA crank knob, it is ideal for easily moving heavy lures and applying a lot of pressure during the fight.
The Magforce-Z braking system offers better casting control and longer distances, especially for flat, accurate casts, due to the reduced influence of the magnet inductor compared to the SV-Boost system. A flat trajectory also produces less noise when the lure hits the water, which is essential when fishing in shallow water under obstacles. The 34mm aluminum spool additionally ensures better casting distances on powerful casts and does not overrun as quickly as smaller spool diameters.
