The BG series lineup includes rods for fishing for cod, coalfish and halibut with natural and artificial baits.This also includes rods for fishing with surface baits such as poppers and stickbaits for GT and mahi mahi, for jigging for amberjack and for deep sea fishing for redfish and ling. Of course, this series also offers short-section travel rods for the most common sea fishing methods - especially for Norway.
The durable HMC+ blank, equipped with saltwater-resistant titanium oxide rings, DPS-H or DPS reel seat with locking screw and a durable EVA handle make these rods a reliable companion during uncompromising fishing trips on the world's oceans.
BG Popper is designed for fishing with surface lures such as large stickbaits and poppers. The slightly softer tip in combination with the hard backbone easily transports surface baits weighing 70 to 120 grams at a distance.
