Compared to the existing J-Braid X8, the Grand X8 offers a tighter braid – this achieves better abrasion resistance and knot strength. The special manufacturing process, in which the J-Braid Grand X8 is stretched during production, further increases abrasion resistance and tensile strength. The J-Braid Grand X8 is very soft and extremely quiet in the guides due to the surface coating – it is somewhat stiffer than the J-Braid X8 and is therefore particularly suitable in windy and difficult casting conditions.
