The Fox Rage Pro Shad is often confused with the Zander Pro Shad, but it is clearly different. It has a flatter body, appears a bit more elongated, and is equipped with large 3D eyes. The swimming action is also different. The Pro Shad has a rolling action with slower but much more pronounced flanks. This combination of appearance and swimming action, combined with great color patterns, has made it a classic for pike.

Thanks to the very robust rubber compound, the Fox Rage Pro Shad is not only very effective for pike, but also pike-proof. This softbait withstands multiple attacks, and if it gets a few cuts, you can simply repair it by soldering or gluing. So, generally a lure with which you will catch several fish.

The Fox Rage Pro Shad is available in different sizes. From the 18 cm version onwards, the lure can be fished very well on a shallow rig and other stinger rigs. This makes this shad perfect for all water areas, from shallow to deep, and it can even be trolled very effectively. The smaller sizes of 10 and 14 cm also look good on a jighead and can be retrieved in open water or jigged in the classic way. Musaga jigheads in size 6/0 and for other brands 5/0 fit perfectly.

The Fox Rage Pro Shad is known as an outstanding pike lure, but to limit it to that would be a waste. It also performs excellently in the smaller sizes as a perch and zander lure. The larger versions are also very suitable for catfish and in the sea for cod. A very versatile shad that promises above all one thing: good catches of beautiful fish up to real monsters.
