The Fox Edges Wide Gape Beaked X is the extra stable version of the Edges Wide Gape Beaked hook model.
The super strong yet light hook was made using XC80 steel forging construction and is ideally suited for the biggest carp in extreme “Hook & Hold” situations, i.e., when you can't or don't want to give the fish much line because it could otherwise hide in, for example, the woods.
The eye is inclined 10% inward and the tip is a needle-sharp bent point.
The Wide Gape Beaked as well as the Wide Gape Beaked X are based on the proven Arma Point technology, and the aggressively bent leg facilitates the turning of the hook, significantly improving the hold in the carp's mouth. The incorporated micro barb naturally prevents the hook from coming out during the fight. And the non-reflective PTFE coating keeps the carp unaware of their luck.
