The completely new and extended Premium series of Scope OPS rods is based on 30-ton high-modulus Carbon and low-resin blanks with a noble 1K-Toray outer finish. The result: A sensationally fast action and beautiful bending curves across all test curves.Thanks to the new 45° multidirectional fiber reinforcement, twisting and lateral warping are minimized. This way, the energy during casting is directed into a precise, fast action - this brings you noticeably more casting distance and better casting accuracy, even under heavy load tests.
To meet the special requirements in various European regions, Scope OPS and Scope rods are now also available as CG models with ceramic rings. These extremely robust rings are particularly resistant to abrasion by thick braided main lines or strong shock line knots.
For those who have wondered whether short rods bring enough casting power: During testing, Jermaine Hull reached distances of over 180 meters with the 3.75 and 4-lb Scope OPS models. These powerful rods master not only carp but also big catfish, pike, or even use in sea fishing.
