The completely new and expanded premium series of Scope OPS rods is based on 30-ton high-modulus Carbon and low-resin blanks with elegant 1K-Toray outer finish.Thanks to the new 45° multidirectional fiber reinforcement, twisting and lateral torsion are minimized. This channels the energy during casting into a precise, fast action – giving you noticeably more casting distance and better casting accuracy, even under heavy load tests.
To meet the specific requirements in different European regions, Scope OPS and Scope rods are now also available as CG models with ceramic guides. These extremely robust guides are particularly resistant to abrasion from thick braided main lines or strong shock leader knots.
For everyone who has wondered whether short rods provide enough casting performance: During testing, Jermaine Hull achieved distances of over 180 meters with the 3.75 and 4 lb Scope OPS models. These powerful rods handle not only carp, but also large catfish, pike, or even use in sea fishing – uncompromising performance in every situation.
