The Scope Abbreviated Special is a particularly strong stalker rod for close range or mobile anglers. But it's not just the strength of the original Mitsubishi carbon blank that is very convincing, but also that this rod has a retractable handle and therefore achieves a truly extraordinary transport length.
With this rod you are always well prepared, especially because its short length means you can simply leave it in the car. So you have them ready at all times. This rod is perfect, especially in tight fishing conditions. Surely everyone has found a great fishing spot, but it was too overgrown in spring to be able to cast properly with a 12ft rod.
The 10 ft and 9 ft rods in the Scope Abbreviated series are equipped with reverse-mounted Tournament Minima guides and a tangle-free Fuji anti-frap tip guide for maximum performance. These models have also been equipped with 40 mm starting rings, which means that even more casting performance can be achieved.
The original Fuji reel seat ensures that your reel always holds securely and stays where it should be. In addition to the matt black windings on the rings, you will find a recess for an isotope on the matt black laser-engraved end cap of the rod, which rounds off the design really nicely.
