The housing is made of a sturdy and lightweight plastic. Including AA battery and headband, this lamp weighs only 35 grams! This makes the lamp very suitable for camping trips or running.The biggest difference to most Nitecore headlamps is the headband. One of the reasons why this lamp is so light is because it uses an elastic band instead of a headband. The rubber band is reflective and glows in the dark. Don't worry, the lamp is still very comfortable. However, it should be added that you cannot wear the lamp on a helmet because of the rubber band. However, the HA11 is equipped with a multifunctional clip that gives you the option to attach the lamp to the brim of a cap, the shoulder strap of a backpack, or the MOLLE webbing of a tactical vest.
Operating the Nitecore HA11 is very simple. With the two buttons on the top, you turn on the lamp and switch between different light modes. Press and hold the power button to turn on the lamp. With the same rotary knob, you can easily turn the light up a notch. With the mode button next to it, you can switch between different light modes.
