The headlamp has a maximum luminosity of 400 lumens and a beam distance of up to 132 meters. The NU25 MCT UL uses NiteLab MCT (Multi Colour Temperatures) UHE LEDs for the first time. This allows you to choose the best colour temperature for your outdoor activities. The low weight of only 50 g makes this headlamp ideal for use while camping, cycling, climbing, and hiking. That is, when every gram counts in your luggage! The NU25 MCT UL is also dust and waterproof, which is extremely practical!

The NU25 MCT UL features NiteLab UHE LEDs. These are the latest LEDs introduced by NiteLab in 2024. The UHE (Ultra High Efficiency) LEDs offer improved efficiency per watt and are the brightest and most energy-efficient option for headlamps currently. But that's not all, because the NU25 MCT UL features the MCT (Multi Colour Temperatures) variant of the NiteLab UHE LEDs. This gives you the option to choose between "Warm Light" (3000K), "Neutral White" (4500K), and "Cool White" (6500K).

Warm Light (3000K): perfect for bad weather and under winter conditions. It offers excellent permeability in fog and rain and improves visibility. It also prevents glare and reflection in the snow, making it an excellent choice for outdoor activities in winter.

Neutral White (4500K): provides a soft, bright, and naturally appearing effect. It is ideal for a variety of activities, such as reading or working, where balanced lighting is desired. This type of light creates a calm atmosphere that feels neither too cold nor too warm, making it versatile in different environments.

Cool White (6500K): resembles bright afternoon sunlight and is ideal for long walks or runs. It keeps you alert and helps you stay awake and focused. This type of light offers a bright and focused effect, which is ideal for active activities where sharp vision is required.

Operation and light modes of the Nitecore NU25 MCT UL
Primary Light
To activate the lamp (and to turn it off), press and hold the Power button for one second, activating the Low-Mode. Pressing the same button then switches between the different light modes (Low, Mid, and High). The Mode button allows switching between different colour temperatures.
High: 400 lumens, duration of about 2 hours and 40 minutes, 132 meters
Mid: 200 lumens, duration about 5 hours, 94 meters
Low: 60 lumens, duration about 13 hours, 51 meters
Ultralow: 6 lumens, duration about 45 hours, 13 meters
Red Light
In the off state: Hold the Mode button for one second to activate the red light in Low-Mode. Then click the Power button to activate the red light in High-Mode.
High: 15 lumens, duration of about 10 hours, 7 meters
Low: 5 lumens, duration about 26 hours, 4 meters
Special Modes (SOS/Beacon/Slow Flashing)
Regardless of the light mode of the headlamp: Press the Mode button twice for the SOS mode. In SOS mode, press the Power button once to switch between the special light modes.
Slow Flashing (Red light): 15 lumens
SOS (White light): 400 lumens
Beacon (White light): 400 lumens

Charging the Nitecore NU25 MCT UL headlamp and battery indicator
The Nitecore NU25 MCT UL is powered by a built-in 700mAH Li-Ion battery. You simply charge it with the included USB-C charging cable. Click the Mode button once to display the battery status. The user manual explains the meaning of the different battery indicators.

Nitecore NU25 MCT UL Accessories
The Nitecore NU25 MCT UL comes with a lightweight headband that has reflective and night-glowing glow-in-the-dark functions. Additionally, a storage bag is included, which can also be used as a diffuser. Simply slip the bag over the NU25 MCT UL headlamp to then use it as a camping lamp. Furthermore, a USB-C charging cable and a user manual are included in the delivery.
