The flip switch for free spool release, already known from the WFT Electra BI-Motor, eliminates the need for awkward hand movements, allowing the free spool to be comfortably operated with the thumb without taking your hand off the rod.
However, new is that with the Electra Pro 700 Super Comfort Speed Jig, you can also regulate the retrieval speed from 0 - Max on the left side with your thumb.
An invaluable advantage, as free spool and speed settings are by far the most used functions.
This allows you to react much faster to new conditions, such as quickly changing water depth and current, hesitant bites, or impending snags, without having to reposition your hands and without taking your hand off the rod.
