Daiwa
BG 5000 Salt Water

Durable sea battle reel with elegant design!

With the BG sea reels, the Daiwa engineering team creates the ideal front drag reels for the highest loads in freshwater & saltwater fishing!

The extremely robust HardBodyZ aluminum reel body enables a torsion-resistant mounting of the CNC-machined Digigear II gear and optimal power transmission during the fight.

The ABS aluminum spool is equipped with a rubber ring in the middle that prevents "slipping" of smooth braided lines - even under heavy loads!

"No Paint" surface treatment:
A special surface coating behavior ensures that no paint "flakes off" even with heavy use and in saltwater.

ATD braking system:
Runs without the usual high initial resistance and maintains the set braking force consistently.

From size 4500:
Strong use reel for pilking and uncompromising fishing for catfish!

Shimano
Vengeance AX Tele Boat 270cm 50-150g

Robust telescopic boat rod at a top price!

The Vengeance Tele Boat is affordable and fits almost any angler's budget. The powerful composite blank offers excellent functionality and a moderate parabolic action that makes the fight fun while providing the necessary pulling power to conquer even the largest bottom fish.
If you want to buy your own boat rod for saltwater fishing but don't want to spend too much money, the Vengeance Tele Boat offers one of Shimano's best price-performance ratios. The versatile Vengeance range is available in three models and covers most situations in boat fishing in deep and shallow waters with weights or lures up to 300 g (10 oz) (Heavy model) or a massive 500 g (17 oz) (Extra Heavy model). With a Vengeance Tele Boat, you will never have to use inferior gear from charter boat captains again.

While most anglers consider composite rods inferior to carbon rods, the rules can change for boat rods. Due to the challenging conditions, large fish, and heavy weights used, a high-quality composite construction like the Vengeance Tele Boat is often superior to inferior carbon fiber that can fail under pressure. The Vengeance Tele Boat has a long tradition of reliability, and for the remarkably low price, you will hardly find anything comparable. Equipped with Shimano Hardlite guides suitable for mono and braided lines, an EVA handle, and a versatile DPS reel seat, the Vengeance Tele Boat is a fantastic rod for the budget-conscious boat angler.
