The Salina Tuna is a precise spinning rod series for hunting tuna of all sizes and sets the new standard for fishing for tuna off the coast!
To match the power of the tunas, the Salina Tuna features an exceptionally powerful high-modulus Carbonblank, optimized for intense force confrontations.Special attention was paid to ensure that the 1+1 blank has the necessary flex to minimize the strain on the angler when fighting the fish. This attention to detail extends to the other components of the Salina Tuna as well: The blank is equipped with a Fuji reel seat and SeaGuide New Concept rings with zirconium dioxide inserts and SS316 frames. The rubber gimbal cap increases stability when reeling in the fish.
Since tunas often swim in schools of similarly sized individuals, the Salina Tuna series includes three different rod sizes – This allows for the optimization of the gear by selecting the rod according to the expected size of the fish. For optimal performance, we recommend combining the Salina Tuna with a Tesoro or Cedros spinning reel.
