Okuma's new Tesoro Spinning reels have been redesigned from the ground up. These reels are constructed with Okuma's Alumilite housing, side plate, and Cyclonic Flow Rotor design for maximum strength. With an IPX-7 fully waterproof design, the Tesoro Spinning reels offer the best features and protection.

The Tesoro features a 12HPB + 1RB corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearing drive as well as a Carbonite high-performance DFD braking system with Cals brake grease, offering over 25KG of pure fish stop brake. The reel is built with a custom titanium spool shaft that reduces flexibility and weight, as well as a C6191 brass drive gear and pinion, supported with GSS (Gear Stabilization System), providing unparalleled stability and durability. The Flite Drive™ design offers a seamless, smooth start without inertia and remarkably light and effortless handling. The dual anti-reverse system provides maximum strength and reliability. The rigid, aluminum-made screw handle design provides direct feedback when turning the handle and locks firmly in place. A rotor brake system works in conjunction with the Tesoro's manual bail release design, but for size 4000 to 6000, the release is automatic.
