The PB Products Safety Pack offers a well-thought-out solution for waters where the use of leaders is prohibited!
Many clubs and commercial facilities now prohibit leaders because the knots between strong monofilament line and leader are too bulky and can block the casting of the lead in the worst case. This system addresses exactly this issue: It still enables the safe use of the popular Hit & Run Safety System without risking harm to the fish.The assembly is straightforward: First, the included 5mm ring is threaded onto the monofilament main line. Then, the Lead Clip with Tail Rubber is attached as usual. Instead of placing a leader loop over the clip, the main line is directly knotted to the ring. This replaces the loop and ensures that the clip can open smoothly in case of line breakage. For additional protection, Anti-Tangle Tubes or Tungsten variants can be added.
The set includes all components to get started right away: Hit & Run Lead Clips, Tail Rubbers, Speed Swivels size 8, and 5mm rings. With this, you are well-equipped to fish safely and effectively even under strict water rules.
