Big reel for big challenges!
If you want to face the gigantic challenges of carp fishing, you need a reel you can rely on. The Penn Vantage Longcast is just that: a reliable big-pit reel made from durable and lightweight materials. It offers smooth, long casts and a powerful performance that gives you the upper hand. The Penn Vantage is characterized by an impressively stiff, yet incredibly lightweight XRC carbon housing, as well as a robust main gear made of high-quality metals for a long life. The Quick-Drag system allows for lightning-fast changes between free spool and drag in heated situations. Whether you choose the size 7000 or 8000, the Penn Vantage Longcast is the perfect package for demanding carp anglers.
One of the main benefits is how effortlessly this reel makes it possible to execute large casts over long distances with precise accuracy. The innovative Slow Leveline technology means that the reel can achieve up to 50 line wraps per spool oscillation, resulting in quick retrieval and a flawless line lay, so the line can fly off the spool freely on the next cast.
Thanks to 7+1 sealed ball bearings and a sealed brake that keeps water and dirt out, fishing with the Vantage is a pleasure, giving you full control over the fight. The reel comes with two separate line reducers that can be attached to the spool, allowing you to use less line on each reel. Designed for reliable and flawless performance on every trip, the Vantage is made for those who trust only the best in carp fishing.
