The Tyrolean Wood is an air-filled plastic tube, which has a weight at one end and an eyelet for the fishing line at the other end. Due to the air in the tube, it becomes buoyant and thus always maintains its vertical position at the bottom of the water body.This is fundamental for the fishing line to remain freely movable at the top end, the weight hardly sinks into the mud and can be used with almost no snags on rocky ground.
