The Tyrolean Stick is an air-filled plastic tube that has a weight at one end and an eyelet for the fishing line at the other end. Due to the air in the tube, it floats and thus always maintains its vertical position on the bottom of the water body.This is fundamental to keeping the fishing line freely movable at the top end, the weight hardly sinks into the mud and can be used with almost no snags on rocky bottoms.
