n }} The Tyrolean Hölzel is an air-filled plastic tube that has a weight at one end and an eyelet for the fishing line at the other end. The air in the hose gives it buoyancy and therefore always maintains its vertical position on the bottom of the water.
This is the basis for the fishing line to remain freely movable at the upper end, the weight hardly sinks into the mud and can be used on stony ground with almost no snags.
The Tyrolean Hölzl is not to be underestimated if you want to let the bait drift actively in the current over gravel and rocky bottom. But these leads also make it possible for you to fish from pools with almost no hang-ups.
