So how about a sea reel with a unique coating that could be sprayed with salt water for 500 hours in the test without any problems? This is what the new SGS8 reel with the SW500 coating offers. This reel is also perfectly protected by the sealed 9 + 1 steel ball bearings, the sealed brake system, the light and strong aluminum housing, and the rotor made of Carbon composite material.
But its ability to withstand salt water permanently is not its only advantage: It also features our unique brake system - Friction-Control-System 3, which houses several washers - a fiberglass and a carbon fiber washer on both sides! This gives the washers unmatched stiffness, resulting in extremely smooth and powerful braking force. Additionally, the washers can be used on both sides to significantly extend their lifespan.
