Originally designed in Japan for bass fishing, the new Zodias has been specifically further developed to deliver even more performance in freshwater spinning.

From fine finesse presentations to large lures, the Zodias offers versatility without compromise.

The Zodias series is based on the proven Hi-Power X Carbon technology from Shimano, which reduces blank twisting, improves casting accuracy, and enables optimal power transfer throughout the rod. The result is more casting distance, better control, and exact lure presentation – even with thin braided line.

It allows powerful hook sets and control when using large spinnerbaits while simultaneously increasing sensitivity and precision when vertical jigging or making long casts with softbaits.

Every detail is designed with a focus on functionality. The lightweight CI4+ reel seat perfectly complements the Carbon Monocoque handle to ensure maximum sensitivity and transmit even the finest vibrations directly to the hand.

The low weight ensures comfortable handling over extended periods, while the secure reel grip and direct feedback are essential for detecting subtle bites in deeper or flowing water.

At the same time, the rod offers precise control when aggressively working twitchbaits or jerks.

The matte blank further reduces weight, while smaller Fuji Alconite guides with optimized spacing provide balanced balance, optimal line protection, and smooth casting with thin braided line.
