The Aero BB, equipped with a backstop, is a great front drag reel with a wide range of uses for float and feeder fishing. The simple design harmonizes perfectly with many Shimano rods, especially with the aero float and feeder rods. The extremely affordable Aero BB is a great option for match and hobby anglers who work with a small budget - and not just because of the deactivatable backstop, which enables the fish to be twisted out super sensitively through back-winding.
With three sizes (3000, 4000 and 5000), the series covers almost all types of float fishing and light to heavy feeders, even when targeting carp or large bream. The Aero BB forms a perfect match with the Aero X1 and the Aero X3 rod series, for example.
Inside the XT-7 G Free housing is a cold-forged Hagane gearbox and an X-Ship system. This combination provides rich power transmission and long-lasting reliability, ensuring that these reels will operate at their peak level for a long time. Other outstanding features include the AR-C spool made of cold-forged aluminum for better line laying and casting performance and a crank screwed directly into the main gear for directness without play.
In addition, every Aero BB comes with a line reducer, which reduces the line capacity and allows you to prepare the reels perfectly for use with monofilament or braided line.
