Purist PX1 Zander Dead Bait
Developed for pike and zander fishing with live bait!
There are two powerful models for pike and a lighter model specifically designed for zander, combining excellent value for money with a subtle, classic look and best-in-class actions.Predator anglers who like to imitate pike and zander fishing with live bait will find a lot to offer in the Purist Deadbait Range. The rod series includes 3 different models. The shorter 10' (305cm) version pairs perfectly with smaller Shimano Baitrunner reels and is ideal for smaller waters and fishing from a boat. The longer 12' model has a bit more Power, allows for better casting distances, and pairs optimally with the larger Shimano Baitrunner reels. All zander specialists should take a close look at the shorter 270cm (8' 10") version with a casting weight of up to 15g.
The heart of the Purist PX1 Deadbait rods is a full Carbon blank. It has enough Power to easily keep large pike and zander in check while cleanly absorbing aggressive head shakes and wild runs. The heavier models effortlessly cast large live baits for pike fishing at distance, while the lighter model has the finesse needed to precisely place small live baits on light rigs. All models feature a classic full cork handle, a custom DPS reel seat, and Shimano Hardlite guides, emphasizing the "classic" look of these rods. The two-piece rods can be conveniently transported pre-assembled, and a line clip allows fishing with a fully open free spool or even with an open bail, even in windy conditions or river currents.
