The Shimano Torium Star Drag Reels are a novelty in the Torium series. Power, stability, and durability (S Compact Body) result in a reel that feels one size smaller in the hand. The side plate on the B-side is one piece, contributing to stability and comfortable handling. The side plate on the A-side houses the handle, the brake adjustment, and the turning knob for casting control.
This, EI, is the second layer of surface treatment applied after anodizing. This treatment penetrates all microscopic surface impurities, so salt has no chance to settle, thereby preventing corrosion.
