The sensitivity of the Vanford is partially the result of the 2nd generation MGL rotor, which is made in conjunction with the reel body from Shimano´s exclusive Ci4+ composite material. That is also the reason why the reel feels so light in the hand. Inside the reel, HAGANE Gear, MicroModule II, X-SHIP, InfinityDrive, InfinityXross, and Silent Drive work seamlessly together to deliver smooth running and a surprisingly strong performance. Furthermore, the Vanford benefits from Shimano´s advanced Duracross Drag braking system, which guarantees very precise control of the brake during the fight. To take line management to a new level, the new Anti-Twist Fin technology prevents the line from sagging between the line roller and spool, which is extremely advantageous especially when fishing with light baits or slackline techniques.Product details:
