The Yasei AX Pike Casting is a series that has been specially developed to fish for the largest pike with large baitcasting (300 size) or round profile reels in conjunction with extra large baits. Capable of handling the largest baits, you'll never feel under pressure with a Yasei AX Pike casting rod in your rod case.
Due to the nature of the rod design and intended use, it requires a very special angler to use any of the three models in this series. You certainly need a fair amount of experience and the confidence that “bigger is best” when chasing pike with some of the largest lures available. They are definitely not for the faint of heart.
All rods cast remarkably well, but you need to use them with the right size lures to get the most out of them. For boat anglers, all three models are excellent trolling rods for large bodies of water.
As you can imagine, rods capable of casting the largest lures need to be strong and powerful, and all Yasei AX Pike Casting models use a high modulus full carbon blank that is equipped with Hi-Power Technology and nano alloy was built. This creates immense power and reduces blank twisting when casting and playing extremely large fish. When it comes to power, these rods are excellent and can handle almost anything thrown at them.
To further increase overall performance, the rods are equipped with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides, which are lightweight but tremendously strong and suitable for both braided and mono mainlines.
In keeping with the high-quality design, a Fuji IPS reel seat is mounted on the custom split-grip EVA handle, giving this series a modern, eye-catching look to match its brilliant fishing performance.
