Groundbait with tiger nuts for carp

It is a sweet mix based on the experience of many carp anglers that carp find tiger nuts very attractive. When the tiger nuts are ground, the natural sugars and oils are made available, which then ensure that the food binds well. The mix is therefore ideal for use with the classic method feeder, as it is also able to bind some larger particles, such as hemp and tiger nut fragments. A mini tiger nut or a fake corn as hook bait then works perfectly.

Processing: Tiger Fish is easy to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, add 1 1/2 liters of water to the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then let it sit for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; To remove lumps and achieve an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a sieve and it is ready to use.

Tip: When fishing, sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little, to counteract this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or, if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
