The bone rig is probably the simplest and most successful method for catfishing from the shore!
There is nothing more effective on big, experienced catfish than a naturally moving bait. The Uni Cat Adjustable Bone System acts both as a buoyancy aid (float) and also as a flexible, extendable arm, giving a bait fish the opportunity to swim in a natural (not static) manner.
Once the bait is rigged, the setup can be cast or transported to the fishing spot using the two-rod technique. A previously mounted, heavy sinker is then exactly beneath the bone rig on the bottom of the water body, securing the setup even in slight currents. The bait fish, leech, or bundle of earthworms is thus presented just below the surface. Additionally, the bone is equipped with glow stick holders for better bite detection at night.
