The VMC Double Pike Chain is a pre-assembled leader for large rubber lures with a length of 16 cm or more. It consists of two VMC 4551 Round 1X Strong Trebles (size 2/0 for L or 3/0 for XL), an ultra-stable swivel chain, reinforced split rings, two spike pins, and a Pike Screw (screw for the rubber lure).
The two spike pins are simply inserted into the rubber lure and detach from the lure when the fish bites. This way, the pike has less weight to leverage out the hook during the fight, and the rubber lure is significantly less likely to be damaged or torn.
