The PENN Pursuit V Boat Combos are available in two different versions: a 20-30 lb and a 30-50 lb version, both combined with powerful 6000 size reels. Both combos can be used for almost all imaginable types of boat fishing. The only difference is that the 30-50 lb version is more powerful and therefore better suited for fishing in very deep waters, with heavy baits, or for very large fish like halibut or sharks. Both options feature highly sensitive blanks and are equipped with saltwater-resistant K-type guides, which prevent the line from tangling around the guides. The PENN Pursuit V reels feature a durable and corrosion-resistant graphite body and a powerful HT-100 drag system. The instant anti-reverse eliminates even the slightest rotor back play, while the 4+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings ensure a smooth retrieve.
