Combining great value for money with strong performance, the TX PLUS Spod Marker rod is capable of casting all sizes of spods without any lack of performance.
When using a marker float, the large tip guide improves sensitivity and makes finding underwater features more accurate.
The TX PLUS Spod Marker is the perfect rod if you are looking for a high performance spod marker rod without the high price that is often associated with high quality. Unlike many mid-priced rods of this type, the TX PLUS has enough power to cast the largest spods, but still retains the sensitivity and finesse to be a worthwhile marking rod.
For accuracy when using a marking float, the blank is equipped with depth marking windings. If you want the ultimate long distance spod rod, there are better models in the Tribal TX range, but they come at a price.
With the TX PLUS you get a fantastic combination of performance and value in a rod that will never let you down. The full carbon blank reliably places baits at surprisingly long distances and the strong Seaguide SiC rings handle repeated casts with braided baits. Adding a large anti-frap tip guide also improves feedback when using a marker float.
Although this model is not our longest casting rod, there are two models to choose from depending on your preferences - 12ft and 13ft, and for the cost you will be hard-pressed to find a better value for money compromise.
