Vanquish FC C3000XG
Beyond lightness!
The Vanquish embodies the pure implementation of the Shimano Magnumlite philosophy. Crafted with the highest Japanese precision, it is designed for those who want to get the ultimate out of themselves and their equipment. The responsiveness and smoothness of the reel make it perfect for fishing with ultra-light techniques for bass, trout and zander. However, the Vanquish can be used for many different techniques and types, including saltwater spinning in the larger 4000 and 5000 sizes. The Vanquish will guide you on every journey to get the best out of you.
The first thing you'll notice is the weight of the roll, or rather the lack thereof. The medium-sized 3000 weighs just 170g - that's extraordinary! Shimano went 'Beyond Lightness' to create an ultimate, smooth-running mechanism with unsurpassed features. It's the pinnacle of ultralight reels and is packed with Shimano technologies, derived primarily from the Stella.
The lightness of the Vanquish comes from the extensive use of Shimano's exclusive Ci4+ composite material. This is improved by the addition of the Magnumlite rotor, which also contributes to the incredibly low starting torque when winding. This slow starting moment is particularly important when fishing finesse and UL techniques. You'll be able to fish these techniques more precisely than ever. Shimano has eliminated play in every component, further improving the meticulous precision of the reel.
Another big advantage is the addition of InfinityDrive. This technology produces powerful but light rotations, especially under heavy loads. In extreme situations, you can still maintain constant, consistent crank pressure, which is very helpful when you're catching that big fish.
The addition of InfinityLoop significantly improves the casting distance. This will help you reach the interesting spot far out, even with super light equipment. Other advanced technologies such as InfinityXross, X-Protect and Anti-Twist Fin further contribute to the remarkable technical performance of this reel.
If you don't want to compromise on quality and performance in your fishing gear, this is the reel you are looking for.
